Muslim Man Dupe Hindu Woman After 15 Years of Marriage [Kandra, Jharkhand]

In a disturbing case of love jihad, a Muslim man named Wasim Khan managed to deceive a Hindu woman named Rita Devi by posing as Manoj. The two got married and lived together for 15 years. However, Wasim Khan, after revealing his true identity, has now abandoned Rita, running away with her jewellery and a sum of Rs 30,000. Despite seeking justice at multiple police stations, Rita Devi has faced obstacles in receiving assistance.

The incident unfolded in Jamshedpur’s Sitaramdera area in Jharkhand. When Rita attempted to file a complaint at the Sitaramdera police station, she was met with unhelpful responses. Subsequently, she approached the Sakchi Mahila Police Station, where she lodged a written complaint. However, no substantial action has been taken in response to her plea for justice.

Rita Devi, a mother of four children, started working after her husband abandoned her. It was during this time that she came into contact with Manoj Jaiswal and began residing with him. It was later revealed that Manoj Jaiswal was, in fact, Wasim Khan from Mango Old Purulia Road, operating a shop in Kandra, Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

Wasim Khan’s betrayal extended beyond revealing his true identity; he also absconded with Rita’s jewellery and Rs 30,000. Furthermore, he subjected her to threats of acid attacks and harm to her children, discouraging her from attempting to leave him.

Rita Devi’s relentless pursuit of justice continues, highlighting the need for authorities to address cases of deception and exploitation in relationships, especially those involving identity concealment.
